So I’m standing in the kitchen last night and J walks in, looking really serious. He’s been playing with his mom’s old Palm Centro cell phone, saying it was the phone he had when “he was a baby”. So he comes in, looks at me and say something like: “My kid keeps using my cell phone to watch videos. He keeps using up the battery and now there’s no juice.” “My kid”. Not a phrase we’ve ever used… A little while later i was in the bedroom and I noticed he had stuck the phone in the bedrail, which is exactly where we put our phones while they charge. I should have asked what “his kid’s” name was.
